Evrensel Mimarlık was founded on 29 May 1996 by Namık Kemal Kaya. He continues to work on national and international projects within corporate structure at Ankara Head Office. Since its foundation it produces architecture and interior architecture projects for the public and private sector inland and abroad in the fields of education, culture, health, commerce, office, housing, transportation, industry, public, complex and tourism buildings and urban design.

With the rapid development of science and technology, communication and cultural shopping have become increasingly globalized, and in parallel, life in rapidly growing cities has become even more tiring and complicated. Neo-liberal policies, which see man as a means of consumption, consume the natural resources while irresponsibly polluting the nature. In addition, the unplanned increase in the world population has led to the narrowing of our habitats day by day.

Since its foundation, Evrensel Mimarlık has aimed to produce naturally and environmentally friendly projects respecting the environment, regional architecture and cultural heritage, intending to make the best use of natural resources without harming the nature, adopting technology and modern ideas, turning simple and comfortable living environments into life and life into art.
